Dr. Dauda Griffin obtained a BA in Anthropology from The George Washington University in 1999, an MD degree from The George Washington University School of Medicine in 2003, completed Adult Psychiatry Residency at Harvard Medical School/Cambridge Health Alliance in 2006, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine in 2008. Dr. Griffin is Clinical Assistant Professor at Emory University School of Medicine and Adjunct Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Morehouse School of Medicine. Dr. Griffin is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Griffin is a member of the American Psychiatric Association where he has held leadership positions including Board of Trustees Member, Consultant Member to the Committee of APA/Business Relations, Member of the Council of Children, Adolescents and their Families, and Member of the Minority Fellowship Selection Committee.  He is also a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and is a Member of the Ethics Committee. Dr. Griffin enjoys working with children, adolescents, adults, families, couples and organizations to help them strive for better health.  Specific areas of interest are developmental delays (including Autism, Asperger’s Disorder, and intellectual impairment) cultural psychiatry and workplace mental health.  In his spare time Dr. Griffin enjoys photography, movies, music and exercise.
